Det byggdes av Stripa Grufvebolag och stod f\u00e4rdigt redan 1896. En tredje turbin drev magnetiseringsmaskinen. Senare tillkom en utbyggnad i vinkel, sannolikt f\u00f6r att ge plats \u00e5t en ny turbin. Kraftledningen flyttades fr\u00e5n gaveln till ett utledningstorn p\u00e5 taket. Kraftmaskineriet \u00e4r helt utbytt och idag anv\u00e4nds en ensam kaplanturbin.  De b\u00e5da tr\u00e4tuberna \u00e4r ersatta av en i glasfiber och st\u00e4llverket har flyttats utomhus.
